Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drums and flats)
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Place wings in a large bowl and toss with oil until lightly coated.
  3. Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 380°F.
  5. Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and fully cooked.
  7. Toss with sauce if desired, or serve plain.

Notes

  • Drying the wings thoroughly is the key to crispiness.
  • Avoid sauces labeled “butter,” “butter flavored,” or “wing sauce” unless verified safe.
  • Cook times may vary slightly depending on air fryer model.
  • For extra crispiness, cook an additional 2–3 minutes.
