- Wash and thoroughly dry the broccoli and cauliflower. Cut into bite-size florets and place in a large bowl.
- Add red onion, dried cranberries, and sunflower seeds to the bowl. Toss to combine.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until the sugar has dissolved and the dressing is smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving for best results.
- Toss again before serving and taste for seasoning.
